This hour-long drama series premiered on 17 September 1971 and starred David Janssen as James O’Hara – an undercover US Treasury agent serving various government agencies, including the Secret Service, Customs and the IRS.
He was a careful man who planned his every move, believing that caution and careful planning would help him bag the criminals he was seeking.
Ben Hazzard (Stacy Harris) was O’Hara’s superior. The series was produced by Jack Webb.
David Janssen died of a sudden heart attack in the early morning of 13 February 1980, at his home in Malibu, California. He was just 48.
