Following the success of Pauline’s Quirkes (1976), Thames Television gave the 18-year-old from Stoke Newington her own chat, comedy, advice and music show for teenagers (the new series was aimed at youngsters of 13 and over).
Debuting on Monday 9 January 1978 and airing only in the London region, the six episodes were co-presented by 19-year-old Linda Robson (also from Pauline’s Quirkes) and Thames veteran Allan Hargreaves, and took a lively and unconventional look at what was happening for teenagers in and around the nation’s capital.
The show returned on Wednesday 10 January 1979 for another four episodes. This time, Pauline and Linda were joined by Martyn Day (in place of Allan Hargreaves).
