This half-hour limited-run Cold War sitcom from CBS revolved around young American Olympic athlete Phyllis Wilson (Murphy Cross) who falls in love with Mikhail ‘Mikhy’ Orlov (Rick Lohman with an atrocious Russian accent), an Olympic athlete from the Soviet Union.

Mikhy defects in order to marry Phyl although he is constantly followed by innocuous KGB agent Vladimir Gimenko (Michael Pataki) who is tasked with trying to get him back to the Soviet Union.

The couple are forced to live with Phyl’s father, Max (Larry Haines) and much of the comedy in the series arose from the conflict between Max, the new son-in-law and KGB agent Gimenko.
