Wildfire (voiced by John Vernon) was a magical talking stallion that saved the baby Princess Sara of Thurinia (voiced by Georgi Irene) from certain doom at the hands of the evil witch Diabolyn (Jessica Walter) by spiriting her to the safety of the Mortal World in South Montana.
Diabolyn subsequently gained control of Sara’s home planet, Dar-Shan.
Twelve years later, Wildfire takes the grown princess back to thwart Diabolyn, with some help from a boy named Dorin (Bobby Jacoby), an uncoordinated equine called Brutus (Susan Blu), and a farmer called Alvinar (Rene Auberjonois).
Sara’s father, John (David Ackroyd), and his friend Ellen (Lilly Moon) offered moral support for their ongoing fight.
Dweedle (voiced by Billy Barty) was Diabolyn’s bumbling sidekick.
