This animated variation on the classic 17th-century novel Don Quixote by Cervantes was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions in conjunction with RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana.

Here a coyote (Don Coyote) and his sidekick, a panda (Sancho Panda) are crusaders for good who travel throughout the country righting wrongs.

Don Coyote rides a talking horse named Rosinante while Sancho has a cynical talking donkey named Dapple.
