Serena, Amy, Raye, Lita and Mina are cyborgs constructed to resemble beautiful teenage girls.
The girls have magical powers that transform them into Sailor Scouts: Sailor Moon (Serena), Sailor Mercury (Amy), Sailor Mars (Raye), Sailor Jupiter (Lita) and Sailor Venus (Mina).
Their mission is to fight for love and justice against their mortal enemies, the evil minions of the Negaverse.
Luna and Artemis, talking cats, assist them in their quest.
