Joe Riley (Riley William) had been a gunfighter who liked action and wanted a legal way to get it.
Chad Cooper (Peter Brown) was hunting for gunrunners who sold guns to the Mexicans who killed his former comrades.
Reese (pictured) was so helplessly stupid, and his young ranger chums so smug and superior, that they teased and pranked him constantly.
Humour was a big factor in this telling of the Texas Rangers. Their boss, Captain Parmalee (Philip Carey), didn’t always find their antics so funny.
