Not be confused with the Yorkshire Television series of the same name starring Pat Coombs and Peggy Mount, this half-hour ATV series was written by Jack Trevor Story and set in Twilight Lodge, a home for retired gentlemen on the verge of financial collapse with Adrienne Corri as its matron, assisted by her pretty young nurse, Corrinna (Carmen Munroe) and the simple Benny (Anthony Jackson).
Abandoned in the home are ex-Mafia man Giulio (Vic Wise), former vicar Peter (Peter Copley), ex-Skegness pier comic Reg (Leslie Dwyer) and retired lawyer Mark (George Woodbridge).
